Typhoon Feria in the Philippines

After the cases of Influenza A(h1n1) had infiltrated the Philippines. A new dilemma is here. A new typhoon had hit the Philippines—Typhoon Feria. Some classes were suspended due to this typhoon. And also some bad effects were seen in the Luzon part of the Philippines. On places, were “ipo-ipo” had occured. And also in one small town, there was a snow-rain.

The big problem now, are the stranded passengers of ships because the Philippine Coast Guard had ordered to cancel all trip so as to insure the safety of all the passengers.

This typhoon will be worsening the influenza A(h1n1) because the public might be getting wrong impression. Because in this rainy season, the seasonal flu is very rampant. And this might arise the panic of the public because they might think that they have A(h1n1), though, they only has this seasonla flu.

I hope the typhoon would be ending soon.

A word that embodies a lot of mystery. Something that is good or bad, depending on the prefix that you might want to add on it. But mainly I guess, this is something that everybody had in them. Luck.

I guess, looking at the Sweepstakes Millions, I was numbed by the 7-digit number. What would you do, if one day you woke up and found yourself a millionaire? Me? I’ll spank myself to check if I’m only dreaming. Come on, I still dream of that.

But luck doesn’t go always with money. Maybe a game. Maybe on an exam. Maybe on many things that you don’t know what would happen next. Something that you call everything in this wild wild world.

Believe me or not, but I guess having an iphone, ipod touch, ps3, wii, or even an xbox arcade, can make every teenagers life as adventurous as  ever. And getting those “techy” things can make anyone happy.

Aside from that, in this era of computers, cellphones and technologies that were not possible 100 years ago, having this things nearly reach the Need part. But, 0f course, we should know that this things were wants. *giggles*

Being CompSci-ish

Being CompSci is a little bit odd, little bit heaven and a little bit of everything. But, come to think of it, it is still the degree that I have been pursuing for so long, and I know I can’t stop in the middle of it. I still want to be like those computer-wiz or whatever they call them.

I mean, everyone wants to excel on their chosen field, I guess I’ll have to exert more effort on it, though.

And i am so thankful to my beloved batchmates for the enjoyment of my college life. They made this roller-coaster ride, with side-trips, more enjoyable than ever.

311 cases of Influenza A(H1N1) virus

Health Secretary Francisco Duque had told the media that there were 64 new cases of A(h1n1) virus and because of this the total cases of the flu victims had reached 311. 93 of this had been cured. And the good news with this is the fact that no one died from the virus.

Another good news is the announcement of the President that all the patient that will be infected will be given free medication. I hope this will continue.

On the other side, I hope pharmaceutical companies won’t have price-hike that will be a burden to the public.

I really believe that the government and all other units and the World Health Organization are doing everything that they can to contain and kill this virus.
